Marsh PB is one of the longest established insurance broking and risk management companies in Thailand.  The company that is today Marsh PB was originally founded in 1980 under a different name.  In 1990 the company became Johnson & Higgins PB when Johnson & Higgins assumed management of the operation.  In 1997 Marsh & McLennan merged with Johnson & Higgins and the Thai company became J&H Marsh & McLennan PB.  Following the 1998 merger between J&H Marsh & McLennan and the Sedgwick Group, the company's name became Marsh PB in line with the re-naming of Marsh & McLennan's risk and insurance subsidiary, Marsh Inc.

The amalgamation of Marsh & McLennan, Johnson & Higgins and Sedgwick has resulted in a greatly expanded and strengthened network of specialist resources available to serve the needs of any industry.  Marsh PB has been involved in providing risk and insurance solutions for many of Thailand's infrastructure projects which were undertaken during the 1990's.  Today Marsh PB has a diversified client base of local and multinational companies with operations in Thailand.
